Commercial Director

Your tasks

• Lead the overall commercial and contracts function across major projects. • Provide strategic commercial advice to senior management and project teams. • Oversee contracts, claims, variations, extensions of time and commercial negotiations. • Monitor project profitability, commercial risks and contractual exposure. • Lead and develop commercial, contracts and quantity surveying teams. • Manage relationships and negotiations with clients, consultants and subcontractors. • Review major contractual agreements and provide commercial recommendations. • Ensure effective commercial governance, reporting and cost control. • Support dispute resolution and protect the company's contractual position.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in commercial management within major construction/contracting companies. • Proven experience at Commercial Director / Head of Commercial / Senior Commercial Manager level. • Strong background in major building, infrastructure or contracting projects. • Excellent knowledge of contracts, claims, variations and commercial management. • Strong leadership, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills. • Western candidate preferred. • Candidates with a salary expectation around AED 50,000–60,000 will be considered. • Immediate availability is strongly preferred.
