About the Role

We are looking for a *responsible and hands-on Bowling Centre Technician* to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of bowling equipment to ensure our lanes operate safely, smoothly, and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily inspection, maintenance, servicing, and repair of bowling lanes and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair *pinsetters, ball return systems, scoring systems, lane equipment, and related machinery*.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to minimise equipment breakdowns and lane downtime.
  • Respond quickly to technical faults and restore affected lanes to operational condition.
  • Conduct regular checks on electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
  • Replace worn or faulty parts and carry out necessary adjustments and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections, servicing, repairs, and breakdowns.
  • Monitor and maintain an adequate stock of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in accordance with workplace safety procedures.
  • Assist with technical support during *bowling leagues, tournaments, events, and peak operating periods*.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Perform other technical and maintenance duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

  • Technical qualification or experience in *Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field* is preferred.
  • Experience in bowling equipment maintenance is an advantage, but *training will be provided for suitable candidates*.
  • Practical hands-on skills with mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to use basic hand and power tools safely.
  • Responsible, reliable, and willing to learn.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working around machinery.
  • Willing to work *shifts, weekends, and public holidays*.
