As part of our next phase of organizational growth and digital transformation, we are looking for a Warehouse Manager for our facilities in B.I.P. Sindos.

The Role

The Warehouse Manager has overall responsibility for the organization, upgrading, and smooth operation of the company's warehouses. They report to the Production Manager and collaborate closely with the Production, Procurement, Sales, Logistics, Quality, Financial Services, and IT departments.

This is a substantial, hands-on management role, with a daily presence in the areas of responsibility and the opportunity to create structures, processes, and measurable operating standards.

Role Mission

To establish a modern, safe, disciplined, and measurable warehouse operation that ensures inventory accuracy, full traceability, timely movement of materials and orders, as well as a high level of internal and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Organization and daily supervision of warehouse operations, with clear allocation of tasks, priorities, and resources.
• Design, standardization, and continuous improvement of receiving, unloading, storage, internal movement, picking, order preparation, loading, and shipping processes.
• Optimization of layout, warehouse space organization, storage locations, signage, and utilization of available capacity.
• Ensuring the correct and safe handling of fragile and heavy loads, such as glass sheets, A-frames, and special storage and transport racks.
• Ensuring inventory accuracy through systematic checks, cycle counts, inventories, and investigation of discrepancies.
• Establishing traceability procedures and ensuring the timely and correct entry of all movements into ERP/WMS.
• Monitoring performance indicators (KPIs), such as inventory accuracy, productivity, execution times, errors, damages, and timely shipments, with the implementation of corrective actions and regular reporting to Management.
• Leadership, guidance, training, and development of the warehouse team, emphasizing accountability, cooperation, and operational discipline.
• Close coordination with Production, Procurement, Sales, Logistics, Quality, and Financial Services for the smooth flow of materials and orders.
• Active participation in organizational transformation, automation, and digitalization projects of Logistics & Supply Chain operations.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety rules, safe storage, stacking, loading, unloading, lifting, and securing of loads, as well as cleanliness, order, and correct use of equipment in the areas of responsibility.

Required Qualifications:

• University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, or similar warehouse management role.
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment and substantial knowledge of inventory, receiving, loading, unloading, and shipping processes.
• Very good knowledge of ERP/WMS and MS Office, with emphasis on Excel and the utilization of operational data.
• Ability to manage teams, organize daily tasks, and manage change.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving ability under pressure.
• Good knowledge of English and the ability to travel between company facilities.

Desirable Qualifications

• Knowledge of the safe use of overhead cranes, forklifts, and other lifting and movement equipment. A relevant operator's license will be considered an additional qualification.
• Experience in creating, reorganizing, or significantly upgrading warehouse operations.
• Experience in the glass industry or in the management of fragile, heavy, or special materials, such as glass sheets, A-frames, and special racks.
• Knowledge of Lean Warehousing, 5S, continuous improvement, or similar methodologies.
• Participation in digitalization, automation, or Logistics & Supply Chain transformation projects.
