Through our work, we advocate for a calm, peaceful, and respectful coexistence between our clients, residents, employees, and local residents. In particular, we place great importance on providing optimal care for our residents by supporting them through all the challenges of everyday life, while simultaneously encouraging them toward independence. We facilitate German courses, mediate leisure and educational offers as well as family sponsorships, and promote acceptance within the population through encounters.

For the assignment in Halbe OT Masssow, we are hiring Social Care Workers (m/f/d) in full-time or part-time. Please note the required qualification. We look forward to your application. .

Your Tasks: --------------------------------------

• Everyday care, provision, and support of asylum seekers
• Assistance in dealing with offices and authorities
• Support and assistance in personal, family, or financial matters as well as, if necessary, with mental illnesses and/or addiction diseases
• Occupancy planning while complying with aspects such as origin, age, gender, and family structures, as well as the admission of residents
• Enforcement of house rules, room inspections, and responsibility for property maintenance
• Active conflict and complaint management as well as crisis intervention
• Trustful cooperation with external institutions, providers, and social assistance facilities as well as maintaining contact with authorities

Your Profile: --------------------------------------

• University qualification (B.A., M.A., or Diplom) in Social Work, Social Policy, Social Economy, Psychology, the pedagogical field, or a comparable university degree
• if another university degree is held, continuous verifiable experience of at least 6 months within the past three years (01/2023 - 12/2025) and qualification measures/further training in the field of Social Work is necessary
• In addition to relevant experience in the social sector, you possess insight into human nature and empathy.
• Ideally, you have basic knowledge of social legislation.
• Your English skills are solid. Further foreign language skills (French, Arabic, Turkish, etc.) are an advantage.
• You have good MS-Office skills and can handle current communication tools.
• You are open-minded, flexible, and reliable, and enjoy working in a team.
• Your extended police clearance certificate is without entries.
• Vehicle and driver's license are mandatory to reach the place of work.
