As a Home Manager (m/f/d), you will independently and with great freedom of decision-making look after the residential home entrusted to you in Halbe / Massow, as well as all daily processes and its employees. If you possess strong organizational talent in combination with leadership experience, you await not only great responsibility but also significant individual creative freedom and the opportunity to organize integration, thereby making a contribution to social development.

Your tasks:

• Responsibility for the implementation of the operator contract as well as all ancillary contracts, concepts, regulations, and laws
• Planning, steering, and controlling all processes in the accommodation
• Responsibility and point of contact for residents, employees, visitors, and local residents
• Conflict and complaint management, crisis intervention
• Support in budget preparation and responsibility for budget compliance (incl. invoice auditing, cash book management) of the facility
• Occupancy planning
• Review and approval of all material requirements
• Enforcement of house rules, data protection, and other internal rules
• Cooperation with other institutions, providers, and social assistance facilities as well as maintaining contact with authorities such as the police, social welfare office, and medical services
• Public representation of the accommodation to the outside world
• Organization of integration measures such as intercultural encounters, German courses, cooperation with local clubs, volunteering, and mediation of family sponsorships
• Employee leadership and personnel responsibility

Your profile:

• Completed training in social services is desirable, but not a requirement.
• In addition to relevant experience in the social sector or the management of a (comparable) facility, you bring people skills, empathy, and high social competence.
• You have up-to-date leadership knowledge as well as experience in leading employees.
• Your English skills are solid. Further foreign language skills (French, Arabic, Turkish, etc.) are an advantage.
• You have good MS-Office skills and can handle current communication tools.
• A car driver's license is mandatory for reaching the place of work.
• You are willing to attend a training course before starting the position.
• You are open-minded, flexible, and reliable, and you enjoy working in a team.
• Your police clearance certificate is without entries.
