Your tasks
You will manage and maintain science laboratories by preparing and cleaning equipment and chemicals, ensuring safety and security, and supporting STEM instructors with laboratory tasks.
- Open and secure laboratory doors and windows to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access
- Clean and organize laboratory equipment, workspaces, and assigned school areas to maintain a safe environment
- Prepare laboratory apparatus, equipment, and chemical reagents accurately for science practical lessons
- Clean, maintain, and store laboratory apparatus and materials properly after use to preserve functionality and safety
- Assist STEM instructors by supporting laboratory activities and performing assigned duties efficiently
Requirements
Required competencies and certifications
- Ability to handle laboratory chemicals safely, including acids and bases
- Basic knowledge of science laboratory safety procedures
- Ability to read and write simple English to follow instructions and communicate effectively
- Minimum primary school education
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Preferably 1 year of experience working in a Junior College science laboratory

Other Information Working Hours
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8:00am to 5:15pm, including a 45-minute lunch break
- Wednesday: 8:00am to 4:45pm, including a 45-minute lunch break
