Your tasks

You will set up and operate AV, lighting, and sound systems for school events, maintain and troubleshoot AV equipment, provide photography and videography support, and conduct preventive maintenance and training for users.

• Set up and operate audio-visual, lighting, and sound systems for school assemblies, events, and performances to ensure smooth technical delivery
• Maintain and troubleshoot projectors, interactive displays, PA systems, and other AV equipment to minimize downtime
• Provide photography, videography, and digital signage support for school activities to capture and display key moments
• Conduct preventive maintenance checks on AV equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
• Train teachers and students on proper AV equipment usage to enhance user competence and reduce technical issues
• Support school events outside regular working hours with flexibility and effective communication

Requirements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Higher Nitec in Audio-Visual Technology, Media Production, or a related field
• At least 2 years of hands-on AV experience, especially with auditorium sound and lighting systems
• Proficient in operating audio mixers, wireless microphones, stage lighting, AV troubleshooting, photography, and video editing
• Good communication skills to effectively train staff and students and coordinate event support

Other Information Working Hours

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1-hour lunch break
• Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1-hour lunch break
