Bilingual GCP Data Engineer
Modality: 100% Remote Location: Mexico, CDMX
Requirements:
- Intermediate advanced English (conversational)
- 3 years of experience in data engineering
- Advanced SQL / BigQuery
- Python (pandas, PySpark, SQLAlchemy)
- ETL/ELT pipeline development (Concord, Airflow or equivalents)
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP): BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow
- Data governance and quality tools
- Version control (Git / GitHub)
- Experience in data migration projects (desirable)
- Mastery of BigQuery: CREATE TABLE/VIEW, External Tables, Scheduled Queries, query optimization
- Ability to map data dependencies and coordinate with business owners
- Python for scripting and automation of migration tasks
- Experience in retail or data consolidation projects (desirable).
