Your tasks
Main activities
- Design, develop, and implement Machine Learning solutions.
- Perform exploratory analysis, cleaning, and data transformation.
- Build, train, evaluate, and optimize predictive models.
- Apply statistical techniques and experimentation methodologies.
- Develop advanced SQL queries for information processing.
- Validate the performance and quality of models through metrics and statistical tests.
- Document results, experiments, and developed solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence projects.
Requirements
Academic Background: Bachelor's degree or postgraduate degree in areas focused on scientific research, such as Physics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
Professional Experience
- 4 years of professional experience
- Advanced English (indispensable)
- Solid experience in Data Science and Machine Learning.
- Advanced mastery of Python.
- Experience with Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-Learn.
- Advanced handling of SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Solid knowledge of applied statistics, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
- Experience in training, evaluating, and validating predictive models.
- Experience developing end-to-end Machine Learning solutions.
- Handling of Git for version control.
- Desirable knowledge of XGBoost or LightGBM.
- PySpark, Apache Spark, or processing of large volumes of data.
- Polars, Statsmodels, and SciPy.
- TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- MLflow and MLOps practices.
- Google Cloud Storage (GCS) or Azure Blob Storage.
- Language models (LLMs) and Generative Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience in applied research and experimentation.
