IT Security Specialist (m/w/d)

To strengthen our teams at the Leonding location, we are looking for 1 IT Security Specialist (m/w/d)

Your tasks

• Monitoring, analysis, and evaluation of security events as well as conducting vulnerability and risk analyses

• Implementation, operation, and continuous optimization of security solutions such as firewalls, endpoint, and network protection

• Active participation in Incident Response, IT forensics, and security audits

• Technical assurance and further development of compliance requirements (e.g., NIS2, ISO 27001)

• Close cooperation with internal and cross-location IT teams to secure systems, applications, and cloud environments

• Active management and cooperation with external service providers for IT security

• Continuous improvement of the security architecture and security processes

Our requirements

• Completed training (apprenticeship, HTL, or degree), ideally with a focus on IT Security, network technology, computer science, or a comparable field

• Initial relevant professional experience

• Sound knowledge in IT Security, network security, as well as Identity & Access Management

• Experience in handling security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and firewalls

• German and English language skills

• Willingness to travel approx. 20%

• High sense of responsibility, discretion, as well as a strong security and quality awareness

• Teamwork skills and strong communication skills in cooperation with internal IT teams
