Desktop Engineer
IDC is looking for Desktop Engineer for one of our Projects This role focuses on endpoint support, scientific IT asset management and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 support for Windows, Linux, macOS and iPad environments.
- Support endpoint onboarding, offboarding, technology refresh, OS patching and upgrade activities.
- Manage scientific IT hardware, software and software licensing throughout their lifecycle.
- Maintain inventory records and ensure compliance with licensing and asset management requirements.
- Participate in technology evaluations, Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) and endpoint-related projects.
- Generate compliance, asset and operational reports while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate project activities with users, vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Common Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant desktop, endpoint support or IT operations experience.

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
