Consultant - Development & Configuration Specialist(Error Code Handling)

Role Overview

Support the development, configuration, and testing of technical solutions across the three workstreams. You will work under the guidance of Lead Consultants and Senior Consultants to implement specific features, conduct testing, create documentation, and ensure successful delivery of project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Configuration

• Develop and configure technical components based on detailed specifications
• Implement error handling logic, API integrations, and data mappings
• Configure monitoring dashboards, alerting rules, and automated workflows
• Write scripts and automation tools to support solution deployment
• Assist with AI/ML model integration and testing

Testing & Validation

• Execute functional, integration, and regression test cases
• Document test results, defects, and issues in tracking systems
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities
• Validate data accuracy, system behaviour, and integration points
• Perform smoke testing and sanity checks after deployments

Documentation & Support

• Create and maintain technical documentation (user guides, configuration guides, FAQs)
• Document system configurations, integration points, and dependencies
• Prepare training materials and conduct user training sessions
• Provide production support during hyper care period
• Log and track issues, working with senior team members for resolution

Collaboration & Learning

• Work closely with team members to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Seek guidance from Senior Consultants and Lead Consultants on complex issues
• Contribute ideas for process improvements and efficiency gains
• Build knowledge of BANK systems, tools, and processes

Requirements

Essential

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field
• 4-5 years of relevant experience in software development, testing, or technical support
• Hands-on experience with at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript)
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases, and integration patterns
• Experience with testing tools and methodologies
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Willingness to learn new technologies and tools quickly

Preferred

• Experience with financial services or banking applications
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Splunk)
• Basic knowledge of AI/ML concepts and tools
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with documentation tools (Confluence, SharePoint)
