Test Automation Engineer

Your role As a Test Automation Engineer, you support development teams by setting up and maintaining test automation frameworks and test scripts.

You create and manage test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing. You develop a test plan and guarantee quality in your testing assignment.

You ensure that automated tests are seamlessly integrated into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, so that new software updates can be tested continuously and reliably.

Analyzing test results is an important part of your work. You accurately assess the test outcomes and report your findings to the development team. This allows any potential issues to be quickly identified and resolved, contributing to the stability and quality of the software.

Additionally, you work intensively with developers, QA specialists, and other stakeholders. By jointly improving test strategies and applying best practices, you ensure that the software products meet high quality standards and perform optimally.

Your profile You have obtained a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent expertise. You also have initial experience in the testing domain.

You perform automated testing on SOAP & REST services and have experience with Java and SQL. You work with tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Postman, and preferably also with JUnit, Lombok, XML, and IDEs. Experience with version control is an asset.

Furthermore, you are familiar with working in an Agile environment and according to Agile methodology.

You also have good knowledge of cloud platforms.

Your certification in ISTQB Foundation and ISTQB Certified Test Automation Engineer is a distinct asset.

You possess strong problem-solving skills and know how to quickly and effectively analyze and resolve technical challenges.

Thanks to your analytical thinking skills, you are able to thoroughly evaluate software behavior and test results and derive valuable insights from them.

Additionally, you have good communication skills. This means you know how to communicate effectively with your various stakeholders within a project.

You have a good knowledge of French and English.
