IT Domain Team Lead

Your role You are part of a multidisciplinary team where various expertises come together to ensure optimal management of the IT domain. As IT Domain Team Lead, you are responsible for the development teams within your domain (4 development teams - total of 25 people). You report directly to the IT Director of the development department.

As a tactical organizer, you translate the strategic objectives of the department into a clear and workable framework for your teams. You ensure that this vision is embraced and converted into concrete actions and results.

You coordinate the operations and projects of your teams and monitor quality, progress, and priorities. With a helicopter view, you align with stakeholders and adjust in a timely manner for efficient and reliable execution.

In your role as manager and coach, you support your employees in their daily operations and development. You ensure a stimulating work environment in which autonomy, collaboration, feedback, and talent development are central so that teams can perform optimally.

As a coach, you support employees in their development and create a safe, inclusive work environment with room for feedback, autonomy, and growth. You stimulate talent development, a strong team dynamic, and proactively deal with tensions.

Additionally, you act as a knowledge manager with insight into the functional, architectural, and technological context of the ICT domain. You follow evolutions, promote knowledge sharing, and make expertise broadly accessible.

Finally, you build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and build bridges between ICT, business, teams, and partners to realize maximum business value.

Your profile

• You have obtained a master's degree, preferably in IT, or you can demonstrate equivalent experience through relevant experience in the management and follow-up of one or more development teams.
• You have experience in the organizational management of technical teams and demonstrate leadership. You also have experience in project management.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in project management.
• You are analytical and innovative, draw connections between data, and derive creative, well-founded solutions. You guide and motivate employees, promote team spirit, and maintain constructive relationships with customers and stakeholders. You act with integrity, take responsibility, plan your own development, and decisively turn results into action.
• You have knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Prince2.
• A plus point is your technical background in Java, JEE, OpenShift, SOA-webservices.
• You express yourself fluently in French and English.
