Your role As an Azure DevOps Engineer (.Net), you are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable .NET applications in an Azure environment. You work closely with other IT department employees to deliver software iteratively and incrementally. You participate in PI (Program Increment) Planning and other Agile ceremonies. You also play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of the software.
Your tasks:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining reusable .NET components. These components are reused by other development teams, and you provide support and documentation for them.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining reusable Azure DevOps CI/CD components.
- Collaborating with cross-functional, agile teams within a SAFe environment: you work closely with other developers, testers, architects, product owners, and scrum masters to deliver software iteratively and incrementally.
- Participating in PI Planning and other Agile ceremonies.
- Analyzing and resolving technical problems. You are responsible for fixing bugs and providing technical support to less experienced colleagues within and outside your development team.
- Quality assurance and code reviews. You are responsible for performing code reviews and ensuring code quality through unit tests, integration tests, and other QA methods.
- Contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within and outside the team. You create technical documentation and review documentation prepared by less experienced colleagues within the development team.
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring less experienced team members.
- Continuously improving development processes and software quality. In doing so, you follow the trends and evolutions regarding technologies and methodologies in your domain.
Your profile
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or can demonstrate equivalent experience, and you have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- You possess strong knowledge of .NET, specifically C# and ASP.NET Core. Additionally, you can demonstrate thorough experience with Azure DevOps, specifically in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Azure and Bicep is also essential, supplemented by basic knowledge of SQL and good proficiency in Git.
- Additional experience with WCF, Blazor, Aspire, gRPC (gRPC Remote Procedure Calls), and GitHub Enterprise is considered an advantage.
- You communicate clearly and persuasively, both orally and in writing. You know how to convey technical concepts clearly to stakeholders. With your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you tackle complex challenges in a goal-oriented manner.
- You continuously develop yourself in new technologies and methodologies. You are a true team player, switch smoothly between different tasks and priorities, and remain flexible in the face of change.
- Additionally, you take on a coaching role and help colleagues to grow technically.
- You understand French and are able to express yourself in writing at an elementary level. Finally, you also have good reading and listening skills regarding English.
