Tasks

• Independent management and control of 2 to 5 strategic major customer contracts with high economic relevance
• Negotiation, preparation, and conclusion of contracts - from the initial concept phase to final implementation
• Strategic development and management of customer relationships throughout the entire contract lifecycle
• Application of contract language for the preparation and execution of contracts
• Identification and acquisition of new Key Account customers
• Analysis of individual customer requirements and development of tailor-made contract solutions
• Creation and presentation of convincing offers based on sound market and demand analyses
• Direct responsibility for contract decisions
• Active market and competitor monitoring to identify trends and opportunities early on

Requirements

• Completed studies in the field of economics or completed vocational training, e.g., in the freight forwarding sector
• Many years of professional experience in strategic contract management, ideally in Key Account Management or a comparable role
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Confident appearance, strong analytical skills, and a structured way of working
• High level of personal responsibility, decisiveness, and entrepreneurial thinking
• Several years of professional experience within the contract logistics industry or several years of experience in managing customers
• Good knowledge in the application of contract language for contract preparation
• Increased willingness to travel
• Fluent English skills
