About IBG HydroTech GmbH

We, IBG HydroTech GmbH, based in Alzenau/Bavaria, specialize in the development and manufacture of high-quality products in the fields of robotics, pipe cleaning, and trenchless pipe rehabilitation. From individual system components to complex vehicle conversions, we manufacture almost exclusively according to customer requirements.

Our products are subject to a continuous improvement process, in which we further supplement product characteristics through an ongoing dialogue with our customers and users. This dialogue enables us to consistently offer demanding products.

Technical Buyer (m/f/d)

This is your new area of responsibility

• Creation, evaluation, and renegotiation of inquiries
• Negotiation of delivery and payment terms; creation and conclusion of supply contracts
• Execution of orders including all associated tasks
• Checking order confirmations and monitoring delivery dates
• Creating supplier evaluations
• Procurement and capacity planning
• Processing all material management processes in the ERP system SAGE 100
• Communicative interface function to production planning, design, and sales

What you bring to the role

• Completed technical studies/technical training with commercial experience or commercial studies/commercial training with a technical background
• Sound experience in purchasing
• Fluent English skills in speaking and writing
• Very good proficiency with IT and common MS-Office applications (especially Excel) is required, as well as experience with an ERP system (ideally SAGE)
• Strong negotiation skills, communication strength, and ability to work in a team
• Structured, process-oriented, and independent way of working
• Cost and quality awareness, resilience
