Job Description

Do you want to conduct in-depth analyses of the performance of IR and EO sensors and make them evaluable through validated simulation models? The Defence & Security division is specifically committed to the armed forces and is a recognized technical service provider at national and international levels in the conception of solutions, the support of analysis, development, and implementation projects, as well as the provision of services.
Activities
- Modeling and simulation of sensor systems (IR and EO sensors) under specific environmental conditions to derive high-quality statements regarding performance and system behavior
- Validation of the simulation models used (IR and EO sensors) against HiL, laboratory, and field test results
- Support for the further development of existing simulation models and methods by contributing your own ideas, deriving technical improvement approaches, and identifying relevant trends to strengthen the professional profile of the division
- Participation in result presentations to customers and, prospectively, in technical discussions for the precise classification of simulation/analysis results
- Ensuring an open and professional approach to our customers as well as active support through qualified and value-adding solution proposals
Requirements
- Completed studies in the field of Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in the field of sensor technology, ideally in electro-optics
- Experience in the field of modeling and simulation
- Proficient use of C/C++ as well as Python
- Independence, commitment, and reliability are a matter of course for you
- Good written and spoken English
