Network Engineer, APAC

Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to support enterprise network operations, infrastructure projects and technology-lifecycle activities across the Asia-Pacific region.

The successful candidate will support campus LAN, WAN, wireless, data-centre and cloud-connected environments while collaborating with technical teams, service providers and business stakeholders across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, data-centre, cloud-connected and SD-WAN environments
• Provide hands-on network support for APAC sites, infrastructure projects and business initiatives
• Configure and deploy network equipment using approved designs, standards and implementation procedures
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless, connectivity and network-performance issues
• Maintain and tune network-monitoring systems, dashboards, alerts and notification rules
• Perform network maintenance, software upgrades, hardware replacements and lifecycle activities
• Prepare implementation plans, validation procedures, rollback plans and change records
• Create and maintain network diagrams, equipment inventories, configurations and operating procedures
• Coordinate with telecommunications carriers, equipment vendors, cabling contractors and on-site support teams
• Participate in a global on-call rotation and follow-the-sun support model
• Escalate complex issues appropriately and communicate operational status clearly

Requirements

• Approximately 4 to 5 years of enterprise networking and operations experience
• CCNA certification or equivalent routing and switching knowledge
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking
• Experience with VLANs, 802.1Q trunking, port channels, Spanning Tree and routing protocols
• Working knowledge of EIGRP and basic BGP concepts
• Experience supporting enterprise campus, WAN, wireless or data-centre networks
• Familiarity with network monitoring, incident management and change-management processes
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and collaborate across time zones
• Fluent written and spoken English

Preferred Experience

• Aruba wireless technologies
• Aruba ClearPass or similar network-access-control platforms
• SD-WAN, including HPE Aruba EdgeConnect or Silver Peak
• AWS networking, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway or hybrid-cloud connectivity
• F5 load-balancing technologies
• Network segmentation and access-control projects
• AI-assisted network troubleshooting, configuration analysis, documentation or automation
• Manufacturing, laboratory, research or other business-critical environments

Employment details

• Location: Singapore
• Employment type: 12-month contract, renewable annually
• Monthly salary: S$4,200 to S$4,600

Eligibility Applicants must already have unrestricted authorization to work in Singapore. Visa sponsorship is not available.
