Process Engineer (Senior) - with experience

We are a company from Campana, province of Bs. As., belonging to the engineering sector, looking for a highly skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join our team at a SENIOR level for work in CABA offices. You will have the opportunity to lead the technical definition of challenging projects, contributing your experience in simulation, conceptual design, and basic design of industrial processes to ensure the success of each project.

Our search is oriented towards profiles of: Chemical Engineer, Petroleum Engineer, or related careers, with solid experience in the development of process engineering for industrial, chemical, petrochemical, or Oil & Gas sector plants.

Responsibilities:

• Development and review of process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), and utilities diagrams.
• Performing steady-state and dynamic process simulations, and preparation of mass and energy balances.
• Sizing, calculation, and preparation of process Data Sheets for static and rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, separators, towers, tanks) and control/measurement instruments.
• Hydraulic calculations of lines (pressure drops, multiphase flow) and sizing of relief, vent, and safety valve (PSV) / flare systems.
• Drafting design bases, operation and control philosophies, operating manuals, and line/fluid lists.
• Active participation in process safety studies (HAZOP, What-If, SIL/LOPA).
• Performing engineering at different stages: Conceptual Eng., Basic (FEED), and assistance in Detail Engineering.
• Collaborating closely with the rest of the disciplines (Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation, Control, and Electricity) as the technical process reference.
• On-site surveys at client plants when required.
• Performing engineering hour estimations and technical evaluation of process equipment offers if necessary.
• Ensuring compliance with deadlines, technical quality, and project objectives.

Requirements:

• University degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related.
• Proven experience (Senior level) leading or executing the Processes specialty in engineering companies or operators in the industrial / Oil & Gas sector.
• Deep knowledge of applicable international regulations and standards (API —especially API 520/521/2000—, ASME, TEMA, NFPA, ISA).
• Proficiency in process simulation and calculation software (for example: Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, Flarenet, Pipephase, HTRI, AFT Fathom/Arrow) and reading/reviewing in AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication, technical leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
