Job Overview

An established confectionery and cake studio is seeking a skilled, passionate, and creative Professional Baker to join its growing team. The successful candidate must be self-driven, proactive, and eager to contribute in a creative and supportive environment. The candidate will join the team overseeing the preparation, baking, and artistic decoration of high-quality cakes and pastries, ensuring consistent product quality and sharing their talent with cake lovers.

Roles and Responsibilities

·Assist in the baking and culinary preparation of a wide variety of cakes and pastries.

·Support the execution of soft cream and fondant work for custom cake artistry.

·Monitor product quality and maintain strict attention to consistent taste, texture, and visual standards.

·Participate in brand promotion and digital engagement activities, including creating TikTok-friendly video content.

·Collaborate with team members on artistic baking projects while demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

·Manage work schedules effectively to accommodate early morning working hours and operate efficiently under operational pressure.

·Perform other duties as assigned to support daily kitchen operations and overall business growth.

Qualifications and Requirements

·MUST have demonstrated experience in soft cream and hard cream (fondant) cake decorating.

·MUST be a self-driven, proactive, reliable, and disciplined team player.

·SHOULD have a Food Handling license. 

·A Diploma will be an added advantage. 

·Ability to work effectively during early morning hours and thrive under operational pressure.

·Comfortable and enthusiastic about social media content creation (TikTok-friendly).

·Strong passion for cake artistry, pride in craftsmanship, and eagerness to grow skills in a supportive environment.
