For our valued partner from the steel and metal processing industry, we are looking for a

Senior Controller (m/f/d) at the Krefeld location.

You will work in a dynamic industrial context with a high pace in reporting and closings, as well as regular coordination with European units. Your daily work is characterized by standard reporting, variance analyses, and forecasts, supplemented by ad hoc analyses for management and projects. In doing so, you will further develop reporting and standard evaluations and ensure uniform standards and transparency.

Your tasks:

• Participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including the preparation and plausibility check of SAP output data as well as performing allocations and distributions
• Creation of standard reportings, including variance analyses and extrapolations as a basis for management decisions
• Support for operational planning as well as collaboration on local company planning
• Contact person function in investment controlling for the European companies, including sparring and professional challenge support
• Management of the investment process as well as collaboration on selected performance topics, such as Net Working Capital and personnel controlling
• Processing of ad hoc analyses and preparation of data both content-wise and graphically
• Participation in projects, including the role of Financial Owner, as well as the further development of standard evaluations and reporting

Your qualifications:

• Completed degree in Business Administration or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in controlling or a comparable function, ideally with a focus on reporting and planning
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a structured, independent way of working
• Good knowledge of SAP R 3 and/or SAP S 4HANA, as well as confident data preparation and analysis based on SAP information
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel, as well as experience with Power BI is advantageous
• Good English skills and willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
