I C Talent are currently recruiting for a Food Technology Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream school on the outskirts of Peterborough . The school is ideally looking for someone to join them full-time , however, they are happy to consider part-time applications for the right candidate . The Role You will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical Food Technology lessons to students across a range of abilities. The role will include full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment and marking . You will: Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons Prepare practical and theory-based lessons Teach students across a range of abilities Support students with practical cooking and food preparation Complete planning, assessment and marking Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback Create a positive and inclusive learning environment Encourage students to develop their confidence and practical skills Work closely with colleagues and the wider school team The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Passionate about Food Technology and education Creative, enthusiastic and engaging Confident teaching practical lessons Organised and able to manage planning and marking Patient and supportive Reliable and committed A strong communicator and team player QTS or equivalent is desirable Previous experience teaching Food Technology within a school setting is desirable Why I C Talent?
