Your tasks

Role Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons to students.
• Lead a range of sports, games and physical activities.
• Encourage participation, teamwork and a healthy lifestyle.
• Adapt activities to meet students’ individual abilities and needs.
• Maintain a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Manage behaviour effectively and follow school policies.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Work collaboratively with other staff to support students’ development.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant PE teaching qualifications/experience.
• Experience teaching PE or delivering sports activities in a school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A positive, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to complete the required safeguarding checks.
• Right to work in the UK.
