Hurda Recycling Pte Ltd is a fast-growing metal recycling company actively involved in the sourcing and distribution of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. We are currently looking for a proactive and results-oriented Commodity Trader to join our team and drive our expanding trade activities across local and international markets.

Job Scope:

• Manage the procurement and sales of a wide range of metal materials such as copper, brass, aluminium, zinc, stainless steel, HMS, and other recyclables.
• Develop and nurture strong working relationships with recyclers, foundries, processors, exporters, and other key stakeholders.

• Stay informed on international pricing, freight rates, and market dynamics to make well-timed and strategic trade decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to match supply-demand flows and optimise margins.

• Oversee end-to-end deal execution, including documentation, logistics coordination, and payment terms.
• Contribute to internal reporting and support decision-making through data-backed insights.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
• 1–5 years of hands-on experience in metal trading, brokering, or commodity sales.

• A solid understanding of metal grades and specifications is essential.
• Exposure to regional trade networks, especially within South Asia or ASEAN, is a plus.

• Familiar with Incoterms, international trade documentation, and shipment follow-up.
• Able to work under pressure, independently manage portfolios, and meet trading targets.

• Competent in MS Excel and general reporting tools.
• Open to travel when necessary to maintain and grow supplier/buyer relationships.
