Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure adherence to technical drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe site environment while managing materials and equipment efficiently
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth work progress and timely issue resolution
- Attend site meetings and deliver regular progress updates to stakeholders to support informed decision-making
- Review and interpret technical drawings to provide on-site technical guidance and proactively resolve site-related issues
- Assist in preparing work schedules and monitor construction progress to ensure projects meet deadlines
- Implement safety and quality control procedures consistently to maintain compliance and site standards
- Prepare accurate site reports and maintain progress records for quality control and regulatory compliance
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline with relevant hands-on site experience
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings to support technical site decisions
- Practical understanding of local site management, construction methods, quality control, and safety procedures
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to managing site teams and subcontractors
