About the company

We are proud to working alongside our client, a well-established national organisation with their search for Plant Mechanic to be based at their site in Castleford

Your tasks

• Role includes carrying out all routine vehicle maintenance of our own fleet of Plant Machinery to meet industry and company standards,
• Diagnosis of equipment and resolving and machinery faults
• Work as part of a team, maintaining a good working relationship between colleagues
• Adhere to correct working health and Safety processes
• Keep the working area clean and tidy, reporting any Health and Safety issues as soon as possible to the management
• Carry out any company in training and development programmes as required
• Complete job cards correctly and communicate effectively with Workshop Management
• Ensure all aspects of H&S working practice are adhered to
• Diagnosing and rectifying all types plant faults
• Undertaking any other necessary duties

Requirements

The Candidate

• The successful candidate will have experience working with Plant Machinery
• Ideally possess industry qualifications
• Plant maintenance: 2 years (preferred)
