One of the pillars of our North American division is distributed across four different sites in Mexico, where a combination of manufacturing and fabrication takes place. Your tasks

The intern will provide support to the Engineering area in the analysis, documentation, control, and standardization of manufacturing processes, collaborating in the development and implementation of projects oriented toward the optimization of operational processes. They will be responsible for participating in the monitoring of performance indicators, data analysis, and the identification of process variations, contributing to the implementation of actions that favor efficiency, compliance with established standards, and the improvement of operational performance. Likewise, they will provide support in process administration and control activities, working collaboratively with the Engineering team to ensure the correct execution and follow-up of assigned projects.

What you will do

• Support the documentation and standardization of processes.
• Perform analysis and monitoring of performance indicators.
• Detect variations and optimization opportunities in processes.
• Execute sampling and data analysis of process variables.
• Collaborate in the implementation of controls and process administration.
• Provide support in projects related to manufacturing processes.
• Prepare technical reports and follow up on assigned activities.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team in the development and implementation of process projects.

Who you are

• Active student of Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Availability to perform professional internships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Basic English.
• Basic knowledge in:
• Lean Manufacturing (7 wastes).
• Six Sigma.
• Standard work.
• Process control.
