Technical Perfumer
The mission

Within this international structure combining family heritage and operational agility, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role at the crossroads of scientific rigor and olfactory expression. The challenge is to ensure the sustainability of creations while navigating a constantly changing regulatory environment.
Main missions:
Ensure the maintenance, optimization, and technical updating of existing formulas as well as perfumery databases.
Design innovative alternative solutions to mitigate supply constraints or regulatory restrictions.
Proactively integrate compliance requirements and evolving international standards into the creation process.
Act as a preferred technical interface for the purchasing, production, quality, and commercial departments.
Provide analytical expertise to anticipate raw material shortages and propose relevant substitution pathways.
Actively participate in strategic monitoring of ingredients and structural market transformations.
This position is intended for a rigorous technical profile, capable of evolving in a demanding ecosystem where mastery of raw materials and understanding of sustainability issues are essential. The ability to collaborate transversally with multidisciplinary experts will be decisive for success in this strategic function.
Profile sought
The profile sought for this high-level opportunity must demonstrate a higher academic background (Master's level) specialized in creation and sensory analysis applied to fragrances. Confirmed expertise of fifteen years in equivalent roles is indispensable to manage the challenges of this position.
The ideal candidate is distinguished by a methodical approach and constant demand regarding compliance with quality standards. Intellectual curiosity focused on the evolution of sectoral practices and an ability to propose innovative solutions are expected. Mastery of interpersonal interactions and a natural aptitude to collaborate within transverse structures are essential.
Fluency in English, both in professional exchanges and technical writing, is imperative.
Technical expertise: Advanced mastery of composition and formulation processes. Exhaustive knowledge of the physico-chemical properties of components and their synergy within an olfactory structure.
Creative aptitudes: Sensory acuity allowing for the adjustment of developments to the strategic requirements of clients and market dynamics. Ability to interpret complex creative intentions to convert them into operational and sustainable technical solutions.
Skills and experience required
Master's Degree (BAC + 5) – Master in Formulation and Sensory Evaluation, perfumery option
Experience of at least 15 years in a similar position is absolutely indispensable, and we insist on the "similar position" aspect; it is a must-have
Mastery of English (written and oral)
