CNC - Lathe Operator

We are looking for a skilled CNC machinist in Turku to work with CNC lathes.

In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, setup, and programming of CNC lathes. The task requires the ability to create and modify CNC programs independently, both on a computer and from the machine control panel.

The machines have Siemens controls, and CAM programming is not used on the lathes. For this reason, strong programming skills and an independent working approach are important for the position.

The work is initially 1-shift work, but the applicant is expected to be ready for 2-shift work if necessary.

Salary is determined based on skills and previous experience.

• experience in CNC turning
• experience working with CNC lathes is considered an advantage
• proficiency in Siemens controls
• the ability to create and modify CNC programs independently
• ability to read technical drawings
• good English language skills
• a precise and careful working approach
• readiness for 2-shift work if necessary
