Compliance officer M/F
About the company
Humanis Partners, a 360° consulting and support firm, is looking for its client: a M/F Compliance Officer
We are supporting an international group specializing in financial services and payment solutions in the recruitment of an experienced Compliance Officer, based in Luxembourg.
Present in several international markets, our client is pursuing its development and evolving its organization to support the diversification of its activities.
Halfway between a fintech and an established financial structure, the company cultivates an agile, entrepreneurial, and resolutely action-oriented way of operating.
In this dynamic environment, where projects evolve rapidly and where regulatory challenges accompany every new stage of development, we are looking for a compliance professional capable of combining expertise, pragmatism, and adaptability.
Your tasks
Within an international organization, you will actively participate in the monitoring, securing, and improvement of the group's compliance framework.
Your main responsibilities notably include
- Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT): contributing to risk prevention, vigilance mechanisms, and the analysis of sensitive transactions.
- KYC / KYB and risk assessment: participating in the identification, verification, and assessment of clients, partners, and activities.
- Personal data protection: contributing to compliance with regulatory obligations and the improvement of internal practices.
- Regulatory compliance: ensuring monitoring of legislative and regulatory developments applicable to financial activities and payment services.
- Internal control and procedures: participating in the development, updating, and improvement of compliance mechanisms.
- Support for operational teams: providing expertise and concrete recommendations to secure activities and new projects.
- Cross-functional projects: intervening on various issues related to the group's development and its international expansion.
Your role thus goes beyond the mere application of procedures: you contribute to building effective compliance, adapted to operational realities and the company's ambitions.
Requirements
Your profile Ideally, you have 5 to 8 years of experience, or even more, in a compliance role within financial services, a payment institution (PSP), a fintech, or a comparable regulated environment.
You notably possess
- Concrete experience in anti-money laundering (AML/CFT).
- Good knowledge of KYC/KYB mechanisms and the risk-based approach.
- An understanding of the compliance challenges specific to financial activities.
- The ability to intervene across several dimensions of compliance, beyond your initial specialty.
- Fluent professional English, both spoken and written, which is essential in this international environment.
Experience in electronic payments, digital financial services, or activities with high regulatory exposure will be an asset.
Your personality will make the difference Beyond your expertise, we are primarily looking for someone capable of thriving in a constantly evolving environment.
You are
- Agile and adaptable, comfortable when priorities change rapidly.
- Pragmatic and solution-oriented, capable of reconciling regulatory requirements with operational realities.
- Curious and versatile, with a desire to understand the different business areas of the company.
- Autonomous and proactive, without being attached to an excessively siloed way of working.
- Collaborative, capable of interacting with stakeholders from different professions and cultures.
You appreciate organizations where things are built, where initiatives are encouraged, and where your contribution can have a concrete impact.
What we offer
Why join this company?
- Join an international group in full evolution.
- Participate in varied projects in an innovative and highly regulated sector.
- Evolve within a human-sized organization with a true entrepreneurial spirit.
- Benefit from a diversified scope of responsibilities, far from an exclusively administrative compliance function.
- Contribute directly to the structuring and development of the group's activities.
