Senior Accountant - External Controllership

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – EXTERNAL CONTROLLERSHIP

International public accounting firm seeks talent to join its team in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León.

Location: San Pedro Garza García, N.L. Modality: Hybrid Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Salary: $26,000 to $31,000 gross monthly, depending on experience

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Contaduría Pública y Auditoría.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in tax calculation.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll.
• At least 2 years of experience in an accounting firm.
• Knowledge of NIF and tax legislation: ISR, IVA, and CFF.
• Experience in IMSS calculations.
• Intermediate English, with the ability to maintain basic conversations.
• Intermediate Excel desirable.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Odoo, or others similar.

Main activities

• Manage the accounting for multiple projects of national and international companies.
• Perform calculations for ISR, IVA, and withholdings.
• Prepare and file monthly and annual tax returns.
• Process payroll.
• Prepare financial statements and various reports.
• Provide direct client service.
• Manage tax refunds and procedures before authorities.
• Simultaneously manage between 15 and 18 projects.
