Legal Associate

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Legal Associate role based in Ajah-Lekki. The Legal Associate will research and analyze laws and regulations, prepare legal documents, and support litigation and dispute resolution matters. Responsibilities include drafting contracts, pleadings, and opinions; reviewing and interpreting legal issues; and assisting in case strategy and due diligence. The role involves communicating with clients, courts, and regulatory bodies, maintaining accurate case files, and collaborating with senior lawyers on complex domestic and cross-border matters. The Legal Associate will also monitor legal developments relevant to the firm’s practice areas and contribute to internal knowledge resources. Qualifications

Experienced in court room advocacy Strong foundation in Law, with knowledge of litigation, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks. Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting contracts, pleadings, opinions, and legal correspondence. Advanced Analytical Skills for legal research, issue spotting, risk assessment, and problem-solving. Excellent Communication skills for client interaction, written advocacy, and collaboration with colleagues. Ability to identify, interpret, and address complex Legal Issues across domestic and international matters. LL.B degree and admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. Prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, preferably in litigation or commercial law. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple matters under deadlines. Commitment to professional ethics, client service, and continuous learning. Close proximity to office location (Ajah-Lekki axis) will be an added advantage
