Production Operative

Hue Recruitment is currently recruiting for Warehouse / Production Operators to join an established packaging manufacturing business in Olney.

This is a hands-on position working within a busy production and warehouse environment , supporting the manufacturing process from preparing raw materials through to packing and preparing finished products for dispatch.

The role would suit someone who is reliable, physically capable and looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent.

The Role Your responsibilities will include: Stripping and preparing packaging materials for production Feeding materials into production machinery Operating and assisting with packaging machinery Removing finished products from machinery Packing, stacking and preparing finished products for dispatch Moving raw materials and finished stock around the factory Carrying out basic quality checks on finished products Manual handling and general warehouse duties Supporting the production team to maintain an efficient workflow Keeping production and warehouse areas clean, organised and safe Following production instructions and Health & Safety procedures

Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse, factory, manufacturing, packaging or production environment would be advantageous Comfortable carrying out manual handling and physically active duties Reliable, punctual and hardworking Able to follow instructions and work safely around machinery Good attention to detail, particularly when carrying out quality checks Able to work effectively as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to learn
