Lead a high-impact manufacturing business and drive the next phase of industrial performance

We are now looking for a Factory Director to lead Rexcell Tissue & Airlaid AB into its next phase of performance and transformation.

Rexcell is a wholly owned subsidiary of Duni Group, producing Tissue and Airlaid materials for premium tableware solutions. The site is located in Skåpafors (Sweden) and employs approximately 200 people. Duni Group is a market leader in sustainable dining and food packaging solutions, operating in more than 50 markets globally.

The position

The Factory Director oversees Rexcell AB`s mill operations and ensures the efficiency and effectiveness of all production lines. The Factory Director works closely with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing strategies with Duni Group global objectives. The position is in Skåpafors, Dalsland. Business trips within the group occur.

This role carries full operational responsibility for a mill with approx. 200 employees, and a production capacity of approximately 70.000 tons.

Main responsibilities

Lead and develop the Rexcell management team and organization

Drive improvements in OEE, cost per ton, and waste reduction

Ensure safe, compliant, and stable mill operations

Deliver financial performance through strong P&L and cost control

Define and execute a clear operational and strategic roadmap

Lead continuous improvement and industrial transformation initiatives

Strengthen cross-functional collaboration across Duni Group

Report to Duni Group Manufacturing Director and Rexcell AB Board and provide regular updates on operational performance

Quality & compliance standards

Competences

University/Master degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field

Strong decision-making and execution capability

Ability to combine strategic thinking with shopfloor presence (Gemba leadership)

High level of analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in operational management software and tools

High level of integrity, resilience, and emotional intelligence

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Financial steering (COGS and P&L)

Change Management

Skill/Knowledge in manufacturing processes papermaking

LEAN tools and methods

Besides Swedish, fluent English in speech and writing (corporate language)
