Welding Inspector - Saudi Arabia
Your tasks
- Perform welding inspections in accordance with approved project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.
- Inspect fit-up, joint preparation, root gap, alignment, and welding activities.
- Verify compliance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
- Check welder qualifications and ensure welding is performed by approved welders.
- Monitor preheating, interpass temperature, and post-weld heat treatment (PWHT), where applicable.
- Conduct visual inspection of completed welds and identify defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut, and incomplete fusion.
- Coordinate with NDT personnel for radiographic, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant testing, as applicable.
- Review welding drawings, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and method statements.
- Prepare inspection reports, maintain quality records, and raise non-conformance reports when required.
- Ensure compliance with project QA/QC requirements and applicable safety procedures.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Welding Inspector professional with strong Oil & Gas background for reputed Company in Saudi Arabia.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant welding inspection experience.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- CSWIP 3.1 or CSWIP 3.2 certification is mandatory.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or refinery projects.
- Gulf experience is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant home-country experience are eligible.
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with construction and quality teams.
