DevSecOps Engineer – GCP W2 Role

Job Description We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer with strong GCP experience to build, automate, secure, and manage cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with GCP, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, security practices, and cloud-native deployments.

Location: Schaumburg, IL Work Mode: Hybrid

Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GKE .

Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker .

Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC) .

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Google Cloud Build.

Strong understanding of DevSecOps and security automation .

Experience with GCP IAM, VPC, networking, and cloud security .

Proficiency with Git and GitHub .

Experience with Python and/or Bash scripting .

Hands-on experience with security tools and practices including: SAST

DAST

SCA

Vulnerability scanning

Experience with cloud monitoring and logging .

Strong knowledge of Helm and container security .

Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and deployment issues .

Good understanding of security, compliance, and cloud best practices .

Required Skills Years of Experience: 5+ years in DevOps/Cloud Engineering

Mandatory Skills: GCP, DevOps, CI/CD, API integration, Agentic Platforms, cloud automation

Work Authorization: USC and GC’s only

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
