Instrumentation Technician

Dutiesand Responsibilities: Perform commissioning activities, such as Instrument functional tests, dynamic commissioning, completion of functional checks, and complete mark up on as-built drawings. Assist VENDOR’s Engineer in commissioning VENDOR’s packages. Carry out housekeeping and maintenance of tools and test equipment. Assist engineers and supervisors during vessel repair, dry-docking, conversion and new-building projects. Install and terminate instrument cables, junction boxes, marshalling panels and control panels. Install, maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems. Read and interpret P&IDs, instrument loop diagrams, wiring diagrams and cable schedules. Ensure instrumentation work complies with applicable marine standards, project specifications and classification requirements. Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, piping and commissioning teams. Requirements: Diploma or Degree holder Minimum 3 years relevant experience Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
