What to expect:

• Processing and coordination of international outbound freight including export control, customs clearance, and preparation of relevant shipping documents
• Preliminary checks and processing of letters of credit
• Obtaining and comparing transport offers as well as selection of freight forwarders and determination of freight costs per order (sea freight, air freight, truck freight, courier service)
• Ensuring internal release processes for delivery
• Freight cost processing and verification of freight invoices
• Collaboration in the checking, release, and sending of (transport) invoices for completed orders
• Collaboration in updating relevant specifications / processes regarding export control and customs clearance
• Processing of internal projects in the area of customs clearance/export control
• Key-User for individual, department-relevant IT systems

What you should bring:

• Successfully completed training as an Industrie-/Speditionskaufmann (m/f/d)
• Several years of experience in customs clearance and export control, lateral entry also possible
• Structured, independent, and precise way of working
• Entrepreneurial thinking as well as team and communication skills
• Good to very good English skills
