FORMWORK FOREMAN

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily rebar fixing works on construction sites.
• Read structural drawings and bar bending schedules to guide workers on rebar placement and installation.
• Plan manpower, materials and work sequences to meet project schedules.
• Check rebar size, spacing, laps, anchorage and concrete cover against approved drawings.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors and other trades to resolve site issues.
• Arrange inspections and rectify defects before concrete casting.
• Monitor material usage, minimise wastage and maintain good housekeeping.
• Conduct toolbox briefings and ensure workers follow site safety procedures.
• Report daily work progress, manpower deployment and material requirements to the site management team.

Job Requirements

• Relevant experience in rebar works, with experience leading a construction team.
• Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules.
• Good knowledge of rebar installation methods, quality requirements and safe work practices.
• Able to organise work, supervise workers and coordinate with other trades.
• Responsible, dependable and able to work in a construction site environment.
