- The Monetary Board, the policy-making body of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), approved the entry of HNCB in the Philippines. HNCB received BSP permit to establish its branch in the Philippines in 2016
l Reports to Branch General Manager and CRO. l Assist the CRO to Implement and monitor risk management processes and activities, such as operational risk management etc. l Assist CRO to review credit applications with the Branch General Manager and review of “Credit Evaluation” and “Credit Review” reports. l Monitors compliance with the Branch risk limits in accordance with principles stated in relevant policies (e.g. credit, liquidity, Operation, Treasury/ALM, etc.), l Ensures the risk management framework is implemented in accordance with policies and procedures. l Reviews the risk management framework and the underlying principles which go into it annually. l Makes recommendations to CRO and the Risk Management Committee based on assessment of the Branch’s risk profile. l Ensures the Branch procedures are up to date with regards to risk management principles. l Reviews potential risks associated with new products and activities, if any. l Coordinates risk reporting based on the requirements of the Head Office Risk Management Group and the Branch General Manager. l Reviews the Branch risk related documents. l Ensures adequate risk/compliance-related training to all staff. l Coordinates with Branch’s Internal Auditor and External Auditor on risk related issue.
l Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Business Management or Finance l At least 5 years’ banking experience risk management. l Good knowledge of all area of Banking. l Capable to create and implement Risk Management Plan. l Good skill in data analysis
