Senior/Security Officer

Job Summary

Maintain safety and security within the hotel premises by conducting patrols, investigating incidents, and reporting harmful activities to protect guests, employees, and property.

Responsibilities

• Maintain peace and order within the hotel premises to ensure safety for guests, patrons, employees, and hotel property
• Prevent break-ins and unauthorized access to secured and protected areas
• Conduct regular patrols throughout all hotel areas to monitor security conditions
• Investigate incidents such as disturbances, accidents, losses, and thefts occurring within the hotel
• Report activities harmful to the hotel business, including pimping, prostitution, gambling, touting syndicates, internal collusion, theft, and dishonesty
• Follow the fire emergency plan and take appropriate action when fire alarms are activated
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in security logs and reports

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a valid PLRD license to perform security duties

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working in the hospitality industry is an advantage
• Demonstrate analytical thinking, tactfulness, and ability to work independently
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
