EHS Specialist

Key responsibilities Safety

• Check and assess risks in the production process
• Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for high-risk jobs such as hot work, confined space, and crane operation
• Supervise the handling of chemicals high-voltage electrical systems, and machinery.
• Investigate accidents, find the root cause, and set up prevention measures
• Create and update safety rules, SOPs, and work instructions
• Organize and deliver safety training required by law (confined space, hot work, crane operators, etc.)

Occupational Health

• Arrange annual health checks and special checks for employees exposed to risk factors (noise, dust, chemicals, heat)
• Measure the work environment (light, noise, heat, dust, chemicals) as required by law Environment

Environment

• Manage waste, wastewater, and pollution from production (including industrial waste and used chemicals)
• Prepare and submit environmental/Hazardous material reports and permits required by law

Legal & Documentation

• Submit safety reports to the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare on time
• Follow up on safety-related laws and make sure the company stays compliant
• Support ISO 9001 systems, if applicable

Qualifications: Thai Nationality with Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Occupational Health, or a related field. A Professional Safety Officer Certificate is required. Specialist undertaking in hazardous substances license (BorChor) is required. At least 5 years of experience in chemical handling within manufacturing plants, warehouses, or dangerous goods operations. Strong understanding of the Hazardous Substance Act, Ministerial Regulations on Hazardous Substances, and Department of Industrial Works (DIW) regulations and guidelines. Strong command of Thai (for regulatory documentation) and English (for SDS review and international standards). Strong problem-solving skills and able to work well with factory workers. Excellent coordination skills, good interpersonal skills, and high attention to detail. Good command in English or Chinese.
