Job description:
- Managing the daily operations of the hostel to ensure smooth and efficient work;
- Taking care of the appearance, cleanliness, and maintenance of the facility;
- Proposing the annual work plan, occupancy plan, revenue and expenditure plan, and the plan for current and investment maintenance of the hostel;
- Controlling the execution of planned goals and tasks; responsibility for maximizing revenue while simultaneously controlling costs;
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring operating procedures to maintain high service standards;
- Managing reservations, occupancy, and guest inquiries to maximize guest satisfaction and business results;
- Proposing prices for hostel services, discounts, and promotions;
- Active work on the sale of the hostel's accommodation capacities;
- Hiring, training, supervising, and providing support to the team of employees and occasional volunteers;
- Encouraging and developing a positive team culture oriented towards service excellence, responsibility, and guest satisfaction;
- Taking care of guest safety, fulfilling their special requests, and resolving complaints;
- Active participation in the daily work of the hostel and team activities, including performing tasks related to facility maintenance, working at the reception, and offering food and drinks;
- Taking care of administrative and cashier duties.

- Excellent knowledge of the English language (spoken and written), an additional foreign language is an advantage;
- Basic IT skills (ideally knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite) – ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel;
- Experience in hospitality or service industries, including management and providing quality service (desirable) – previous experience working in a hostel or other accommodation facilities will be considered a great advantage;
- Ability to handle various pressures, including periods of increased workload – excellent time management, ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment;
- Excellent service and communication skills with guests;
- Effective problem-solving and handling of challenges;
- Experience in team management – ability to lead and manage staff and provide guidance to team members (desirable);
- High level of precision in maintaining documentation and records;
- Category B driver's license (desirable);
- Flexibility regarding weekend work is necessary, depending on business needs.
