Job Summary
Lead and oversee daily administrative operations, manage staff hiring and training, optimize office systems and budgets, and coordinate events to ensure efficient and effective office management.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the administrative department and manage staff performance to maintain productivity and compliance
- Hire, train, evaluate, and take corrective action with employees to build a competent and motivated team
- Develop, review, and enhance administrative systems, policies, and procedures to improve operational efficiency
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained to support uninterrupted office functions
- Collaborate with accounting and management teams to establish budgets, monitor expenditures, and process payroll and expenses accurately
- Plan, schedule, and promote office events including meetings, conferences, interviews, orientations, and training sessions to support organizational activities
- Collect, organize, and maintain information using computer systems and filing methods for easy retrieval and record-keeping
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field
- Experience in management or financial reporting
- Proficiency with computers, especially MS Office
- Strong leadership and time, task, and resource management skills
- Effective problem solving, critical thinking, coaching, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
