Job Description

We are looking for a Nurse Manager / Nurse Clinician to provide clinical leadership and oversee the delivery of quality nursing care in a long-term care and geriatric care environment.

You will lead and support the nursing team, ensure compliance with clinical standards and procedures, and work closely with doctors and allied health professionals to provide holistic and person-centred care for elderly residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure safe, effective and quality care for residents.
• Supervise, guide and develop Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Nursing Assistants .
• Ensure proper implementation of nursing care plans, clinical procedures and workflows .
• Monitor residents' conditions and provide guidance on appropriate clinical care and interventions .
• Work closely with doctors, allied health professionals and other healthcare teams to deliver multidisciplinary care .
• Oversee medication ordering, administration processes and inventory management in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, infection control practices and patient safety requirements .
• Review nursing practices and identify opportunities for quality improvement and workflow enhancement .
• Support staff development through coaching, guidance and clinical supervision .
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation, clinical records and reports .
• Participate in nursing and care-related projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or relevant Post-Basic Qualification in Medical-Surgical Nursing, Gerontology or related discipline.
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) .
• Relevant experience in nursing management, clinical leadership or senior nursing positions .
• Experience in nursing homes, long-term care, community care or geriatric care is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical nursing practices and geriatric care .
• Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills .
• Able to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals .
• Good communication skills with the ability to engage elderly residents and their families professionally.
• Proactive and willing to contribute to continuous improvement in nursing care and service delivery .
• Strong sense of responsibility with the ability to work independently and lead a nursing team.
