R&D Project Manager (Precision Equipment / Semiconductor) | Up to $8,000

Your tasks

We are hiring an experienced R&D Project Manager to lead end-to-end development projects for optical communication testing equipment, working with engineering teams across Singapore, Malaysia and China.

• Manage the full R&D project lifecycle, including planning, milestones, budgets, quality and risk management.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, software and testing teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Collaborate with regional engineering, supply chain, production and quality teams.
• Serve as the main customer contact for project updates, requirement changes and deliverables.
• Lead technical reviews, customer acceptance and issue resolution.
• Prepare project reports, risk assessments and post-project reviews.
• Support resource planning and continuous improvement of R&D processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of R&D project management experience in precision equipment, semiconductor or optical communications.
• Proven track record managing end-to-end equipment development projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, risk management and cross-functional coordination.
• PMP or ACP certification is an advantage.
• Experience managing overseas customer projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in Chinese to liaise and coordinate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
