Quantity Surveyor Engineer (M&E) | Up to $5,000 | Admiralty

Salary: $3,000 – $5,000 per month Working Hours: 44 hours per week Working Days: 5.5 days per week Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented M&E Quantity Surveyor Engineer to support project cost management across industrial, commercial, and data centre construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, tender evaluation, contract administration, and budget monitoring to ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs for M&E works, including electrical systems. Develop and monitor project budgets to ensure effective cost control. Prepare tender documents, evaluate quotations, and recommend suitable bids. Review M&E drawings and specifications to identify cost-saving opportunities. Manage contracts, variations, change orders, and progress payment valuations. Conduct site measurements to verify work quantities and assess project costs. Identify potential cost risks and recommend mitigation measures. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors. Prepare cost reports, budget forecasts, and financial updates.

Requirements Degree, Diploma, Specialist Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, M&E Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution. Minimum 3 years of relevant quantity surveying experience, preferably in industrial, commercial, or data centre projects. Proficient in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and cost control. Good understanding of tendering, contract administration, and variation management. Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
