Join a leading data centre manufacturing company as a Data Centre Cabling Technician . This role is ideal for candidates with experience in rack cabling, structured cabling, server installation, or hardware assembly who are looking for a stable career with attractive shift allowances and benefits.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: $2,800 – $3,200/month
- 12-Hour Day Shift Allowance: + $12 per shift
- 12-Hour Night Shift Allowance: + $24 per shift
- Shift Premium: + $15/month
- Meal Allowance: $8/day
- Transport Allowance: $8/day
- Work Location: Tampines
- Full-Time, Permanent Position
- Every Sunday Off
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rack cabling according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
- Install and route cables within server racks while ensuring neat and accurate cable management.
- Maintain 5S standards and good housekeeping within the work area.
- Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and according to quality standards.
- Support other production and operational duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Technical School, Vocational School, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or High School qualification .
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in rack cabling, structured cabling, server assembly, electrical assembly, electronics manufacturing, or related production environments .
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working on ladders and at heights.
- Good hand dexterity and attention to detail.
- Able to lift or move up to 50 lbs (approximately 23kg) .
- Basic computer literacy.
- Able to commit to rotating 12-hour day and night shifts after the training period.
Working Hours
Training Period (First 3 Months)
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
After Training
Monthly rotating 12-hour shifts:
- Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
- Night Shift: 8:30 PM – 8:00 AM
- Average 16 working days per month
- Sunday is a fixed rest day
- Daily 1.5-hour break plus 30-minute shift handover
- Overtime is subject to supervisor approval
