Bookstore Retail Associate | 5-Day Work Week | Up to $2,400

Your tasks

We are looking for service-oriented Retail Associates to create a pleasant shopping experience for bookstore customers. If you enjoy helping people, keeping things organised and working in a team, this could be a suitable opportunity for you.

• Assist customers with product enquiries and recommendations
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service
• Handle cashiering and payment transactions accurately
• Arrange books and merchandise, replenish shelves and maintain displays
• Support promotions and sales activities
• Conduct stock checks and assist with inventory control
• Maintain store cleanliness and support daily operations

Requirements

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-focused with a positive attitude
• Responsible, organised and willing to learn
• Able to work independently and with a team
• Previous retail experience is an advantage but not essential
• Able to work weekends and public holidays according to the roster

What we offer

• Monthly salary of $2,100–$2,400
• 5-day work week, 44 hours per week
• Training provided for the role
